1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Organically Affiliated, you agree to these terms. Organically Affiliated is software as a service operated by Ascending Humans. These terms apply to businesses that use the service to run a partner program ("brands") and to the people who join those programs ("partners"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Organically Affiliated is an app for Shopify stores that lets brands run an affiliate program. It creates a discount code for each partner in the brand's store, tracks the sales those partners bring in, calculates commissions, and produces payout statements. We do not process sales transactions and we never hold or transfer money between brands and partners.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. Brands connect their Shopify store to an owner account, and each connected store belongs to one owner account.

4. Subscription and payment (brands)

Brands pay a subscription through Shopify, at the price shown in the Shopify App Store at the time of installing, after any free trial shown there. Charges appear on your Shopify bill and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details. Joining and using the service as a partner is free.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• misrepresent any business, product or service, or make misleading claims about them;
• submit false or misleading information, including fake orders or self dealing designed to create commissions;
• send spam, or post partner codes where the brand has not allowed it;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems;
• use the service to operate multi level marketing or pyramid schemes;
• interfere with the operation of the service.

6. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you submit. Customer information we receive from a brand's Shopify store is used only to attribute sales and calculate commissions, and is handled and deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request an export or deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Our standards

Every brand and partner is held to these terms. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks them, including any brand that misrepresents what it sells, at our discretion and with notice where practical.

8. Brands and partners

The relationship between a brand and its partners is between those parties. Organically Affiliated provides the software to manage it but is not a party to it. Each brand sets its own commission rates and partner guidelines, and a brand may pause or remove a partner from its program. Brands pay their partners directly, and are responsible for paying every commission a partner has earned under the brand's terms. A commission earned before a partner leaves, is removed, or before the brand stops using the service remains owed. If a brand's plan ends, the brand can still use its statement and payout tools for 90 days afterwards to pay what it owes, and nothing else in its account. After those 90 days the brand pays anything still owed directly. A brand may void a commission it believes came from fraud or a breach of its guidelines, and the partner is shown the reason.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation, and we are not responsible for payments between brands and partners. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Termination

Either party may end this agreement at any time. Brands end it by uninstalling the app from their Shopify admin. Partners can leave any brand's program from their dashboard, or ask us to delete their account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
